Chester FC, ReColour & Community: Breathing New Life into Deva Stadium

A young Chester FC fan helping to update their stadium with ReColour recycled paint

On 6 June 2025, Chester Football Club came together with supporters young and old to launch a vibrant, sustainable transformation of Deva Stadium — using ReColour remanufactured paint. This project reflects not just a fresh coat on the walls, but a shared commitment: improving our surroundings and honouring the planet.

The scheme sourced high-quality remanufactured paint from ReColour and repurposed it to renew the stadium’s appearance in an eco-friendly way. The result? Colourful, renewed stadium walls and steps, but also an inspiring example of how leftover paint can be reused rather than discarded.

As Blacon Seals, one of the organisers, described it:

“It was a really smooth process and the team … were really helpful in getting the paint sorted and collected within a few hours of our first call.”
“We’ve now started the preparation … which will take a number of weeks and lots more paint!”

Community members turned out in force, painting side by side and investing their time and energy — all to give the Deva a well-deserved RePaint. This isn’t just about visual sparkle; it’s about community, sustainability, and showing what’s possible when people and organisations pull together for a cause.
